Electrodiagnostics

Neurodiagnostic lab services available for both inpatients and outpatients include:

• Electromyograms (EMG): A procedure to evaluate the electrical activity of muscles and their associated nerves.
• Evoked Potentials (EP): Measures your brain’s electrical activity in response to external auditory (hearing), visual (vision), or electrical (sensory) stimuli.
• Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies (NCV): Measures the results of an electrical impulse through one of your nerves to assess nerve damage or injury.
